If you are a fan of tractor pulling, you might have heard of the Great Eccleston Tractor Pulling event, one of the most popular and exciting events in the UK. The event features various classes of tractors, from garden tractors to modified tractors, competing to pull a heavy sledge along a 100-meter track. The winner is the one who can pull the sledge the farthest or reach the end of the track, known as a “full pull”.
One of the main sponsors of the event is Mitas, a leading manufacturer of agricultural tyres. Mitas has been supporting tractor pulling for many years, providing high-quality tyres that can withstand the extreme conditions and demands of the sport. Mitas also sponsors some of the best teams in the world, such as Team Whittingham from England.
Team Whittingham is a family-run team that has been competing in tractor pulling since 1980. They have won several championships and trophies over the years, and they are known for their impressive machines, such as Snoopy 3, a modified tractor powered by two Rolls-Royce Griffon Mk 58 engines!
